info / terms of service

payment upfront via PayPal invoice. for bigger commissions (>200€), a payment plan can be discussed. finnish customers: I also accept direct bank transfer & mobilepay!
commissions slots are not filled on a "first come, first serve"-basis unless specified otherwise. if I receive more applications than I'm able to work on at the time, I'll prioritize the projects I feel like I can execute with the best results. If your request doesn't get accepted, feel free to submit the same form the next time I have slots open.
it usually takes me around 1-3 weeks to finish a commission, depending on its complexity. please allow me up to 2 months to complete yours (my day job might be keeping me busy, commission queue very long etc.) - after which, if for some reason I haven't been able to finish your commission, you'll be offered a full refund.
please note: a single commission slot entails a single canvas, so you're not allowed to commission multiple separate headshots on the same commission slot, for example.
please provide clear visual references! refer to a guide like (this one) if you're unsure about how to take reference screenshots of your FFXIV character. I refuse to work based on descriptions alone.
coloured sketch headshots and other smaller commissions have a single turnaround. for all other commissions, I will send you a preliminary rough sketch and will proceed with rendering only after I receive your approval. most major edits should be made in this stage, such as adjustments to the pose etc.
after I send you the finished piece, you're entitled to ask for a few small adjustments (such as tweaking skin/eye/hair colour etc.) without any extra charge.
you're allowed to use the commissioned picture as your avatar/header/wallpaper etc., as well as make it into physical prints and such. however, the resale and commercial use of these and the commissioned picture itself is prohibited - please contact me via my email (valonnopea(at)gmail(dot)com) to discuss commissions for commercial purposes.
